Tactile Typography Poster

Tactile Typography Poster

About
In the visual design course, students were assigned to create a typographic poster using tactile materials to create images that, when edited together in sequence, tell a visual story about environmental awareness.
I created a poster to address the environmental impact of disposable masks amidst the global pandemic. I used Adobe Lightroom, Premiere Pro and Photoshop.

Stop-motion video with the last frame being the final poster.

Final typographic tactile poster.

First Iteration
Using felt materials and string, I created a first draft of the video by cutting out several pieces to work with and taking photos of each frame.
After the first iteration, I knew I needed to maintain a consistent camera angle and edit the photos consistently. I also decided to change the way I created beginning of the video to make the scenes flow better and to create a more meaningful transition.
